Shipping policy

Where we ship

We ship from Macksville, NSW to anywhere in Australia, and to most countries through our international shipping options. If your country or address isn't available at checkout, email us at gday@heapsgoodgarage.com and we'll see what we can do. Some items, such as certain complete bikes, ship within Australia only, and their product page says so.

Carriers

• Within Australia: Australia Post.
• Frames, complete bikes and international orders: DHL.

Shipping costs

Shipping is calculated at checkout from what's in your cart and where it's going. Frames, wheels, forks and complete bikes are large items with their own shipping rates. You'll see the full shipping cost before you pay.

Dispatch times

In-stock orders usually leave us within 5 business days. Frames and complete bikes can take a little longer to pack properly. If something is delayed, we'll email you. Pre-order items ship when stock arrives, as noted on the product page.

Delivery times (after dispatch, a guide only)

• Australia: usually 2–8 business days with Australia Post, longer for regional and remote areas.
• International: usually 3–10 business days with DHL.

Tracking

Every order gets a tracking number by email when it ships.

International orders

Prices for international customers are shown in AUD, excluding Australian GST. Import duties, taxes and brokerage charged by your country aren't included in our price or shipping. They're the buyer's responsibility and are payable to DHL or your local customs. Your bank may also convert AUD to your currency and charge its own fees.

Lost or damaged in transit

If your parcel arrives damaged, photograph the box and the item before you throw away any packaging, and email us within 7 days of delivery. We'll sort it out with the carrier and with you. If tracking shows no movement for 10 business days, get in touch and we'll chase it.

Address

Please check your shipping address at checkout. If a parcel comes back to us because the address was wrong or nobody collected it, we may need to charge the cost of re-sending it.
